me??? indecisive??? nah!!!

honestly, about a year or so ago, i created my first blog. i played and played, but never publicly promoted it. i just didn’t have the time. i’ve seen some fantastic blogs since then and now and it really was a tough decision for me to actually begin blogging… again. you see, i’m the kind of person who could sit at the computer for hours days just changing the colors and layouts of documents (i know i’m not the only person who does this, so fess up if you’re like i am… it will make me feel better). you can only imagine what it’s like when i sit down to do a little stamping. when i started this blog, i promised myself that i would find a template then stick with it. no tweaking; no going back to a different blogging service; no changing colors; no nothing. heck, it took me forever to decide which blogging service to use. oh, and believe you me, i tried them all! first, you have to have something to write about or to show people. that would mean i’d actually have to stamp or scrap something and then write about it. do i really have time for all that? is my life really that interesting (and if it’s not, can i make it sound interesting)? is anyone gonna want to read it? the answer to all those questions is “probably not” but i thought i’d give it the old college try anyway.

well, i thought i was doing OK until my blogroll list started to look a little unkempt. my solution… pick a different template… of course. darn it, i said i wasn’t going to do that. well, if you visited during the past few days, you know what i mean. i think i changed my template 20 times or more. i’m back to the template i originally started with… for now. i’m sorry if i’ve confused anyone. i know my reader base isn’t breaking any records at this point, but please accept my apologies.

once i finally decided to leave well enough alone, i had enough time to upload these photos that i’ve dsc_5507.jpghad for weeks! i really love the new baroque motifs set. it’s so elegant. i could kick myself for not getting the coordinating wheel. i now have a rule: if a set has a coordinating wheel, it must be purchased at the same time as the stamp set… even if i don’t think i like the wheel (yeah, right. like that ever happens).

this is actually a stamped set that includes a card, envelope, and a handy little holder for both. i cased the card from beate’s gate-fold card tutorial. she is one of my favorite scs stampers. she always has something fabulous to share on her blog and her cards are just the bee’s knees.

enjoy the long labor day weekend! till next time… happy stamping!
